I am a white, queer, trans-nonbinary therapist who supports folks navigating grief, depression, anxiety, gender/sexual identity exploration, life transitions, and disordered eating. I draw from multiple frameworks, including internal family systems (parts work), existential therapy (meaning-making), narrative therapy (re-authoring your story), and feminist theory (understanding distress within the context of oppressive systems). As a trauma-informed therapist, I prioritize choice and collaboration, adapting my approach to meet your specific needs. Above all, I believe the most important ingredient for change is the therapeutic relationship we will build together.
LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Anxiety and Depression | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Exploring Sexuality | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Individuals | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Trans and Transitioning Individuals
Before beginning my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado Denver, I spent several years in peer support roles across settings ranging from my college campus to a local community mental health center. These experiences affirmed my sense that companioning people through challenging times is part of what I feel called to do in this life. Having personally experienced the transformative power of therapy, I feel honored to offer that same care within my community.

Choosing to gaze inward can be a strong yet vulnerable path, tuned to your unique life experience. Opting to be seen in these moments is a monumental process. With YOU as the empowered expert of your life, we will navigate the transpersonal realm to jointly explore and make meaning of issues. From in utero to present moment, increasing mindful awareness and discovery is a method to alter well-worn paths within. Utilizing mind, body and intentional honesty in session can flex cognition and expand new potential sequences.Whether couples counseling or individual, I honor your integrity and bravery.
LGBTQIA+ Therapist Insights | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Anxiety and Depression | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Couples | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Exploring Sexuality | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Polyamory and Open Relationships
Turning inward takes courage. It asks for honesty, accountability, and a willingness to examine held patterns. As the expert of your own life, my role is to collaborate with humility—meeting you exactly where you are while offering guidance, reflection and intentional challenge. From here, begins a therapeutic container to hold difficulty, conflict, grief, desire, stagnation and uncertainty. The therapeutic approach is ‘eclectic’ integrating Gestalt, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Nonviolent Communication (NVC), NARM, ACT, Transpersonal and Mindfulness-Based practices, Attachment theory, Trauma informed/permission based and Somatic modalities—supporting insight to self that is intellectual, embodied and expansive.
A therapeutic focus in my practice is couples therapy including validation of all relationship structures, identities, and orientations. I work with monogamous and non-monogamous partners, LGBTQIA+ couples, polyamorous constellations, and those practicing ENM/CNM. Areas of focus include premarital counseling, conscious uncoupling, repair after betrayal or high-conflict dynamics, creating and renegotiating poly/open relationship agreements, and strengthening parenting or co-parenting partnerships. I also address common therapeutic issues around pornography and digital consumption, sexual patterns, kink, and sexual health, while maintaining a strong focus on men’s mental health, attachment repair, harm reduction, and supporting queer and gender-expansive clients. This work emphasizes clear communication, individualized boundaries, emotional responsibility, and nervous system awareness—creating space for direct conversations. Mindfulness is applied intentionally and efficiently to create practical strategies for presence, stress modulation, and sustained behavioral change. The therapeutic relationship itself becomes a practice ground for honesty, repair, and growth. Therapeutic efficiency will be practiced while working mutually towards identified goals. Transparency and assessment along the way will ensure clarity, adjustments and movements forward in compassionate healing.
Whether you’re seeking individual or relational therapy, we will collaborate to customize an individualized approach to translate self-awareness into action while balancing neuroaffective. Therapy becomes both a space to process and a place to practice—strengthening emotional integration, relational skills, somatic awareness, and your ability to live intentionally in alignment with what matters to you most.

I am so glad to offer neurofeedback for clients looking for an additional or alternative treatment to medication. I’ve had the honor of working in the mental health field for over 10 years now in a wide variety of capacities and am excited about being able to provide neurofeedback here at the clinic. Outside of work I enjoy throwing pottery, spending time with my husband and our dogs and am currently pursuing my Masters in Social Work. I look forward to working with all who enter the doors and will be sure to offer a friendly smile and warm hello.

Therapy changed my life—it helped me reclaim self-compassion after growing up queer in a conservative religious environment. Today, I help others reconnect with their innate healing power, personal authority, and wholeness.
My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, with training in IFS, ACT, and somatic practices. I often integrate mindfulness and meditation to support mind-body healing. Before this path, I was a molecular biologist and software engineer—but my true passion lies in supporting others through deep personal transformation.

After confronting devastating questions of sexuality and gender with parents who pastored a conservative church, Isaac quickly realized there were very few resources for his family. He also learned that there were very few safe places where he could learn about his true identity without judgment or predetermined agendas. Over 10 years later, Isaac has grown the iAmClinic team to 10+ therapists and launched a sister company, iAmCouncil, to provide life and relationship coaching to individuals nationwide!

I became a therapist because I was once a closeted kid—lonely, anxious, and searching for connection. My healing journey inspired the creation of iAmClinic, a space where others can experience the same freedom, self-acceptance, and peace that therapy brought me.
With over 11 years of experience, I integrate modalities like EMDR, Neurofeedback, Somatic Experiencing, and Attachment Theory to offer deep, lasting healing. I don’t just believe in therapy because of research—I believe in it because I’m living proof it works.

They/Them
Therapy can help us discover our authentic selves and craft a meaningful existence. I work with adults who seek to deepen their relationship to self, as well as their connection to others. My therapeutic practice challenges the idea that we must strive for perfection through productivity and instead asks: Where are these pressures coming from? How can we learn to recognize our inner voice and desires? How do we live a life that is aligned with our values?
LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Anxiety and Depression | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Couples | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Exploring Sexuality | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Individuals | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Polyamory and Open Relationships | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Trans and Transitioning Individuals
My identities as a white, non-binary-trans, queer therapist and educator greatly inform my practice. Some of my specific focus areas are: life/identity/career transitions, gender, sexuality, grief-and-loss, anxiety, and depression. Therapeutic modalities I rely on include Person-Centered, Humanistic Existential, Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I accept individual and relationship(s) clients ages 18 and up. My counseling philosophy combines intersectional feminist practices with existential meaning-making. Together, we will confront ideas such as choice, power, freedom, responsibility, and self-acceptance.
My goal is to create an inclusive space where your identities are welcomed and celebrated. My background as a professional educator informs much of the work I do with clients and I strive to incorporate systems based perspectives into the counseling space in an effort to highlight oppressive forces and deconstruct societal expectations. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado, Denver and am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in the state of Colorado. Outside the office, you can usually find me surrounded by food, friends, books, and community.

I began working in the community mental health field in 2012 in northern Arizona, learning the best practices for working with culturally diverse populations addressing a breadth of mental health concerns.
