Personal Philosophy & Additional Insights
Isaac’s journey began with deep personal questions around sexuality, gender, and spiritual belonging—compounded by growing up in a conservative, religious household. With few resources available to support his family or himself, Isaac pursued a path of professional and personal healing. That calling led to the founding of iAmClinic and its nationwide coaching counterpart, iAmCouncil.
Before earning his master’s degree, Isaac worked in Child Protection, served as a nonprofit counseling program supervisor, and even spent time in the operating room at The Children’s Hospital. These roles strengthened his resolve to create spaces that merge clinical expertise with personal empathy.
Today, Isaac integrates techniques from Pia Mellody, Terrence Real, Peter Levine, and Bessel van der Kolk, blending Attachment Theory, Somatic Experiencing, Feminist Theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into his work. For Isaac, therapy is not theoretical—it’s lived. His success story is a testament to the power of healing, and he is deeply committed to walking that journey with every client.

How We Work
We are passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community because it is OUR community – no one should have to teach their therapist about their preferred pronouns or face invasive questions about who and how they love.
At iAmClinic it is our mission to be experts in the field. It is our hope that you feel seen, affirmed and supported in your identities, so that together with your iAmClinic therapist, you are able to make the changes in your life that you are seeking.
