She/Her

I identify as a lesbian/queer cis-woman and hold a welcoming therapeutic space for all identities. I believe in the premise “towards not away” and that embrace of our emotions can lead to greater awareness and insight. They can serve as guides to our inner and outer world, so long as we’re willing to listen.

LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Anxiety and Depression | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Exploring Sexuality | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Individuals

My own therapeutic journey inspired me to support others in finding calm and purpose. I’m currently studying Trauma and Global Mental Health at the University of Denver. I’ve worked with individuals facing OCD, disordered eating, anxiety, and depression. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space where you can tap into your own healing strength.

She/Her

I identify as a bisexual/queer cis-woman and I honor therapy as a space where all of our identities are important. I believe that when we experience hardship without support, we learn to defend against emotions that would be simply too much to hold alone.

With over 13 years in the mental health field, I specialize in treating complex trauma and PTSD in teens and adults. My work spans urban and rural communities across the U.S. and Latin America, where I’ve witnessed both the universality of trauma and the resilience of the human spirit.

As a bilingual, bicultural therapist, I offer culturally-sensitive, neurobiological, and somatic-based care—especially for LGBTQIA+ and Latinx clients, and those healing from religious disaffiliation. I also work with cross-cultural couples, using approaches like EMDR, the Gottman Method, and EFT to foster empathy, communication, and connection.

I whole heartedly believe that none of us are inherently broken, all we need is empathy and guidance to become the best version of ourselves. As an up and coming therapist, I am on a constant journey of growth and education. This allows me to approach and see therapeutic spaces and alliances with an open-mind and willingness to aid you in your own personal journey of growth.

As a Puerto Rican, bilingual therapist-in-training, I strive to create a space where all identities and lived experiences are honored with compassion and curiosity. I’m currently pursuing my master’s in International Disaster Psychology at the University of Denver, building on my foundation in Psychology and Community Mental Health from Universidad de Puerto Rico en Cayey.

I work with couples (monogamous and ethically non-monogamous), LGBTQIA+ clients, and individuals navigating trauma, shame, cultural identity, or substance use. My goal is to support you in reconnecting with your most authentic self and building lifelong tools for meaningful change.

I specialize in men’s mental health, religious trauma, and couples work, especially with those exploring altered states, spirituality, and identity. Whether you’re navigating anger, isolation, or transformation, I offer a co-created space rooted in harm reduction, exploration, and healing.

Therapy changed my life—it helped me reclaim self-compassion after growing up queer in a conservative religious environment. Today, I help others reconnect with their innate healing power, personal authority, and wholeness.

My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, with training in IFS, ACT, and somatic practices. I often integrate mindfulness and meditation to support mind-body healing. Before this path, I was a molecular biologist and software engineer—but my true passion lies in supporting others through deep personal transformation.

He/They

After confronting devastating questions of sexuality and gender with parents who pastored a conservative church, Isaac quickly realized there were very few resources for his family. He also learned that there were very few safe places where he could learn about his true identity without judgment or predetermined agendas. Over 10 years later, Isaac has grown the iAmClinic team to 10+ therapists and launched a sister company, iAmCouncil, to provide life and relationship coaching to individuals nationwide!

I became a therapist because I was once a closeted kid—lonely, anxious, and searching for connection. My healing journey inspired the creation of iAmClinic, a space where others can experience the same freedom, self-acceptance, and peace that therapy brought me.

With over 11 years of experience, I integrate modalities like EMDR, Neurofeedback, Somatic Experiencing, and Attachment Theory to offer deep, lasting healing. I don’t just believe in therapy because of research—I believe in it because I’m living proof it works.

They/Them

I identity as white, non-binary, queer, and, like many, I’m still “in progress.” My counseling philosophy combines inclusive feminist practices with existentialism or “meaning making”. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and my professional background as an educator fuels my pursuit of social justice and my focus on decolonizing the therapeutic space.

LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Anxiety and Depression | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Exploring Sexuality | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Individuals | LGBTQIA+ Therapists for Trans and Transitioning Individuals

I work with adults who are seeking to better understand themselves in relation to the world and systems we operate in. My counseling philosophy combines inclusive intersectional feminist practices with existentialism and my work with clients often centers around the ideas of choice, power, responsibility and self-acceptance. It’s my belief that my clients are the expert of their own experience and that therapy can serve as a tool in living a more authentic and joyful life. No matter where you are in your journey, I will endeavor to provide you with an inclusive space in which all of your identities are welcome. Some specific areas of my therapeutic focus are anxiety, depression, identity development, gender and sexuality, and grief and loss.
I am currently in the process of completing my final year of the graduate program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado, Denver. My background as a professional educator informs much of the work I do in the counseling space as do my identities as a white, non-binary, queer therapist. It’s my goal to incorporate a social justice lens into my work with clients, as well as a focus on the decolonization of therapy. Outside the office, you can usually find me in a comfortable chair with a good book.

I began working in the community mental health field in 2012 in northern Arizona, learning the best practices for working with culturally diverse populations addressing a breadth of mental health concerns. I believe in a holistic approach that involves assessing our brain, mind and context. Our thoughts, values and beliefs are molded by not only our experiences but informed and endless bombardment of information. Peace and ease come from alignment of all of our parts.

How We Work

We are passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community because it is OUR community – no one should have to teach their therapist about their preferred pronouns or face invasive questions about who and how they love.

At iAmClinic it is our mission to be experts in the field. It is our hope that you feel seen, affirmed and supported in your identities, so that together with your iAmClinic therapist, you are able to make the changes in your life that you are seeking.
