Professional Background & Specialties
Katie began her work in mental health in 2012, serving culturally diverse communities in northern Arizona. Her early experience laid a foundation for compassionate, culturally sensitive care—something that continues to shape her practice at iAmClinic. Today, she supports LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and neurodivergent clients as they navigate identity, trauma, and connection.
Katie blends traditional and cutting-edge methods to create customized care plans. She is certified in Ketamine and Cannabis-Assisted Psychotherapy and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), using both to help clients heal from deeply rooted trauma. In couples work, she draws from the Gottman Method to guide partners through communication challenges, emotional reconnection, and relational repair.

In her practice, Katie helps clients identify how trauma impacts communication, decision-making, and intimacy. Whether working with individuals or couples, she gently guides them to reconnect with themselves and each other through evidence-based strategies and compassionate curiosity.
