Additional Background & Personal Philosophy
As a lesbian/queer cis-woman, AJ brings lived experience to their practice and holds space for people of all identities with respect and care. AJ believes in the healing power of moving “towards, not away”—facing emotions with curiosity rather than fear. Emotions, they believe, are insightful guides into our internal and external worlds, offering meaningful direction when we take the time to listen.
AJ’s own therapeutic journey has been transformative, fostering a deep sense of inner calm and purpose. This personal insight informs their work and shapes their mission: to help others become their own most powerful resource for healing, growth, and sustained wellbeing.

How We Work
We are passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community because it is OUR community – no one should have to teach their therapist about their preferred pronouns or face invasive questions about who and how they love.
At iAmClinic it is our mission to be experts in the field. It is our hope that you feel seen, affirmed and supported in your identities, so that together with your iAmClinic therapist, you are able to make the changes in your life that you are seeking.
