Personal Philosophy & Additional Information
As a gay/queer cisgender man raised in a conservative religious environment, Eric’s own healing journey began with feelings of disconnection—from his body, his identity, and his sense of belonging. Through therapy, mindfulness meditation, and personal inquiry, he rediscovered his self-worth and inner clarity. These experiences fuel his commitment to helping others reclaim their wholeness and innate healing power.
Before becoming a therapist, Eric worked as both a molecular biologist and software engineer—careers that sparked his interest in complexity but left him searching for deeper meaning. That search led him to the world of counseling, where he found his true calling: walking alongside others in their personal transformation.
Eric’s therapeutic framework integrates body, mind, and spirit. He works collaboratively with each client, adapting tools such as mindfulness, IFS, ACT, and Gestalt therapy to support growth, empowerment, and deep healing. Above all, Eric believes in the transformative power of showing up—fully, honestly, and with compassion.
